Welcome to the modelling pages of the Swiss Railways Society website.
This page has two initial purposes:
Whilst our name implies an interest only in railway, many of our members have wider interests in modelling things Swiss, so the main constraint will be 'Swiss', so articles on modelling tramways, buses, boats and scenery are all welcome. If there is any information that you think should be on this page, submit it to the Webmaster.
MABAR TREN S.L. are a Spanish Model Railways company situated in Barcelona that produce HO and N scale models. They have released a Swiss post wagon in N gauge. Click here for a picture. There website is www.mabar.es.

The London Branch have been approached by a company, ARC who are looking to open a 30,000 square foot train and transport model exhibition similar to Miniature Wunderland in the centre of London.
One of their exhibits will, most likely, be a Swiss mountain ski resort. Is anyone interested in helping them on this project? They add that they will certainly require a number of very skilled and enthusiastic modellers. If you are interested please contact Simon Parker-
Please note that the Society is in no way involved with, or endorses this project. Any Member who gets involved does so as an individual and will not be acting on behalf of the Society
