September 5th/6th, 2026: Hochdorf Carriage House Festival and Trade Fair .

The Seetal Crocodile railway is turning 100! As part of the Hochdorf Trade Fair, we’re holding our 17th annual Depot Festival: extra trains, food and drink, and an exhibition in the Hochdorf Depot featuring various artifacts from the Seetal Railway’s history. Experience railway careers firsthand with our locomotive driver and train traffic controller simulators. A miniature railway awaits children. Round trips with the original Seetalbahn train, pulled by the Seetal crocodile, from Hochdorf (provisional timetable):
to Lucerne and back: Hochdorf Remise departing at 9:34 a.m. and 4:34 p.m.*; *Sundays only;
to Baldegg and back: Hochdorf Remise departing at 12:04 p.m. and 2:04 p.m.;
to Eschenbach and back: Hochdorf Remise departing at 1:04 p.m. and 3:04 p.m.

Feeder trains to the Hochdorf trade fair and the Hochdorf depot festival: (timetable still provisional)
Lucerne from 10:47 a.m.
Eschenbach from 11:07 a.m., 1:37 p.m. and 3:37 p.m.
Ballwil from 11:12 a.m., 1:42 p.m. and 3:42 p.m.
Baldegg from 12:35 p.m. and 2:35 p.m.

September 19/20, 2026: Participation in the 100th anniversary celebration of the Crocodile locomotive by the Zurich Steam Group and SBB Historic.
