A relaxing trip through the lush countryside of the north-east of Switzerland, journeying along the Bodensee-Toggenburg line from the shores of Lake Zürich, through the historic city of St. Gallen to Romanshorn, one of the ports on the Bodensee, also known as Lake Constance. We join a Swiss wedding reception taking place in carriages hauled by an historic steam loco, and study the textile heritage of St Gallen. The Sitter viaduct, the highest in Switzerland is viewed from inside its own structure, and there is a visit to the depot at Herisau. Shot from train, air and trackside.
