The exploration of the beautiful Swiss Jura with the region’s own railway company, begins with a visit to the wonderful collection of the horological museum at La Chaux de Fonds. Our journey takes us through scenic woodland countryside and there are diversions along the lines from Tavannes to Le Noirmont and Porrentruy to Bonfol. This rural region is famous in Switzerland for its horses, and there is a visit to an exciting equestrian festival, complete with Roman chariot racing, as well as a wild west hold-up of a special train.
