A second visit to the scenic Emmental region of Switzerland to look at the VHB line of the former Emmental Railways group, this section is now incorporated into the BLS regional services. The journey begins at Langenthal and goes through Huttwil, where we begin a circular journey, first to Wolhusen. There we make a link along the SBB tracks to Langnau, where we again pick up the VHB for the rest of the journey back to Huttwil, Along the way we visit the old walled town of Willisau, the Langnau Heimat Museum, and the Emmental Show Dairy where old and new cheese-making methods can be seen. Shot from train, air and trackside. Informative commentary and music.
