The locomotives driving of the Schynige Platte trains, which run from Wilderswil to Schynige Platte in the spectactular Bernese Oberland, are situated at the rear of the train so we view the journey from the guard’s platform at the front. Mainly the view ahead along the 800mm rack line, but with some shots of the views and of the train. The wonderful panoramas over the region from the summit form a stunning end to the trip. Filmed on a sunny summer’s day. Stations and tunnels are named on screen. Natural sound with no commentary.
