Swiss Railways Society Library
The Society Library is closed at the moment as the Stephenson Locomotive Society have had to vacate their premises.
The Society library is now held by the Stephenson Locomotive Society and details of access for members to view the library are detailed below.
2019 Library Dates:
The Society Library is located at Ian Allan building at 52-54 Hamm Moor Lane, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 2SF and will be open on the dates listed below. Opening times are 14.00 to 17.00 on Mondays and 14.00 to 18.00 on Wednesdays. 2018 dates are:

All correspondence and any parcels must be sent to the Librarian’s home address, 166 Redland Road, Bristol BS6 6YG. Postal loans will be sent by Royal Mail or Collect+ and despatch advised by email or telephone. Members are asked to refund the forward cost by cheque payable to SLS or postage stamps when returning the items. Loan period is normally one month but longer loans can be arranged.
The Library Accession List is published on the SLS web-site or can be obtained from the Librarian (3.5MB Excel file). Enquire of the Librarian for photographs or lists which have already been scanned or can be scanned for transmission by email.
The library is situated within the new Ian Allan building at 52-54 Hamm Moor Lane, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 2SF. The site is adjacent to the River Wey Navigation and the Weybridge to Addlestone railway line. Road access is from the A317 between Weybridge and Addlestone signposted to the Weybridge and Bourne Business Parks. Public transport is available from Weybridge Railway Station using the 451 bus to the stop opposite Meadowlands Park. It is then about 15 minutes walk along Hamm Moor Lane to the site. The walking time from Addlestone Station is similar along Corrie Road and Bourneside Road and over the railway footbridge to Hamm Moor Lane.
